David Godshall's Mexico Trip Photo Album: outbound

Starting Out - Traveling from Wichita to Mexico

I left early Wednesday morning and hopped a plane from Wichita to Chicago/O'Hare, the beginning of my trip to Mexico. Yes, Chicago is the wrong direction from Kansas, but that's United's hub and the way my flight worked out. As least I got more frequent flier miles this way.

1Wichita Airport, the start of my journey.
2It was a dark and stormy night... uh, morning.
3Got to Chicago/O'Hare without incident, now I just have to figure out where I need to go.
4Some of the pretty light shows you can watch between terminals.
5A nice mural.
6With a four hour layover, I decided to catch a train to Harlem (Chicago, not New York) and grab some lunch at Sally's.
7Time to take the train back to O'Hare for the next flight.
8The Mexicana airline that brought me the rest of the way to Mexico.
