Boo hoo! It's time for most of the guests to get off to the airport to go home. In addition to the regular crew, Veronika (black hair), a friend of J. Marks who offered their home for us to stay the night, is also pictured.
And so the van pulls away...
Traveling alone, I find myself back at the Zocalo watching some sort of protest march.
A pyramid found within the Pino Suarez metro station.
One of the many statues decorating the many little parks decorating Mexico City.
I make my way to Chapultepec Park, where I rejoin the few remaining others left in Mexico.
The lake in the center of Chapultepac.
Liz and Lake.
Another precious Grandpa and Emma moment. Someone wipe that ice cream off her fingers!
About done with the park and heading for the van.
Crossing the street carefully.
About out of the park, but it looks like something is about to happen...
Four indians preparing to do a traditional aerobatic ceremony.
And so it begins!
The one on the upper-left is playing a flute and drums.
As they spin around, the rope unravels from the top, lowering them.
More than halfway down and still spinning.
Almost there!
Touchdown!
One final demonstration as we pull away from the park, this time of bullfighting with props.
