Bob On Break (B.O.B.)

Well, there's not much else to tell here. Bob has earned his lunch. You all know Bob, WA7KSL, don't you? He's a well-known HAM around here and active in Emergency Communications. He's the director of R.A.C.E.S. in Harvey County and founder (I believe; he'll correct me if I'm wrong) of the Sedgwick/Harvey County A.R.E.S.

But you haven't met my lovely Librex computer on the left. Actually, I don't have that one anymore, I sold it to Ayalkebet (you'll find him in another picture) who turned around and sold it to someone else, so who knows where it is now. I'll never forget you, Libby!

Anyway, in this picture Libby is sitting on and hooked up to my almost invisible PK232 TNC (Terminal Node Controller, fancy HAM-Radio lingo for a radio Modem [Modulator/Demodulator, fancy computer lingo for a gizmo {fancy technical term meaning "thing"} that converts between computer zeros and ones and telephone/radio sounds to allow information to be transfered between computers]), ready for a little Packet Radio work (except I think they're both turned off, so it's not really ready).
